ISM is a class that goal-driven, hard-working students can take during their Junior and Senior years of high school. In this class, students can pick any career/field they are interested in and do intense research to dig deep into their interests, as well as gain knowledge from their chosen mentor. Through choosing a mentor, students get an opportunity to see what their chosen career looks like in the real world and learn about real things that happen each day under the guidance of their mentors. Besides the incredible opportunity to expand knowledge over a given career, students gain different professional skills like presenting, writing résumés, running a LinkedIn, and professionally presenting themselves. In general, ISM gets eager students ready to take on the job world head first and have the skills and confidence to thrive.
